Trans in Eigen Hand is a small, focused volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the autonomy of transgender and gender-diverse individuals within Dutch gender care. We work both publicly and behind the scenes to enable informed consent gender care, train healthcare professionals, and create tools for transgender individuals and healthcare providers to navigate the complex care system.
We welcome volunteers with diverse experiences; our passionate team consists of experts by experience, doctors, pharmacists, and allies.

As a board member, you will be responsible for co-shaping TIEH's vision and strategy. Our board members are often also active in several of our projects. Depending on your skills, this could be in policy, lobbying, public speaking, tech development, or organizing. Together with the other board members, you will work on professionalizing the organization and maintaining partnerships.
